"A Playa's Game No More"

JASON FORBES (PRO) is a young man who entered the ranks of the Fortune 500 by designing a highly effective security chip. Now wealthy and well known with the ladies, some call him Jay “The Playa.” Though he shares his nights with many different women, he is knocked off his game by LYDIA, a beautiful woman from France. She has made this "playa" want to hang up his playa’s card for life. However, Lydia’s father would never accept her marrying a black man; and arranged marriages are a family tradition—she is promised to another man.

Jason is known for helping women in distress; including a young Chinese woman named REINA; she’s in trouble and flees from Shanghai, China to Japan, to escape her kidnapper’s abuse and execution. The woman, who stands by him through it all, can’t seem to distract his attention long enough from him desiring Lydia; so she decides to “Let Go and Let God.”

"A Playa's Game No More"

Mea's playful account of the whirlwind life of Jason Forbes was entertaining and suspenseful.  The man known as "the playa" seemed like anything but after meeting Meeta.  In spite of all his casual encounters and unexpected  heartbreaks,  Meeta put aside her pride to make her own living and unwittingly make a friend.

The way the author told the tale of sex, love, money, and international affairs might make all guys think twice about being "playas."

Exciting, funny, real, and romantic

Reader Rating Posted June 30, 2009, 9:20 PM: This book was like watching a movie on TV1. I really enjoyed this book in reference to seeing and trying to understand men and their "playing ways" I recommend this book if you are looking for an urban story with appeal.
